On the slim chance I have free-time, I often use it for personal projects - I've posted a couple on this website, like with Fine Line Files or what have you, but this page is for other fun little things I've made (mostly fandom stuff) that don't warrant an entire page
Kicking it off, here's an animation I did because I thought the girl from this intro to the 'What's Up, Duloc?' song from Shrek the Musical, sounded an awful lot like Spinel.
The funny thing about this, is that I posted it on Twitter as if it were a leak from the finale to Steven Universe Future - and a lot of folks believed it, until Pink Diamond's voice at the end. Some people even admitted to waiting until the finale aired and then coming back to this 'leak' afterwards, so they could watch this without being spoiled.
My very first viral hit, was this doofy little Undertale bit, where I made a bunch of custom sprites and... less animated them, and more just had them bounce between poses to the audio of a horrible Game Grumps joke.
The joke still gets me.
I made this animation for my friend's birthday - the model of Harley Quinn I used was from the Harley Quinn show, but unfortunatley I hadnt seen the show when I made it, so I used her pre-break up outfit and hammer.
One of my biggest loves when it comes to animation, are characters that can warp reality - because the animators always tend to go ham with what they can do. As much as I love Q from Star Trek, he can't quite do what Discord (not pictured) from My Little Pony does. This picture is a big meet up with some famous ones that I like! it was a collaboration between myself and Nix Garcia who did the amazing rendering.
From top to bottom, left to right, we have: Genie from Aladdin, Ecaflip from Dofus: Kerub's Bazaar, Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls, Uncle Grandpa, Eris from Sinbad, The Warden from Superjail and Him from The Powerpuff Girls.
Should also state, this does not reflect my opinions on Uncle Grandpa - I just thought it'd be funny!
A love letter to 2 of my favorite animators of all time, Alex and Lindsay Small-Butera in the weirdest possible way, by putting the characters from their amazing web-cartoon, Baman Piderman (a massive inspiration of mine) into the intro to Batman: The Animated Series.
I dont know what my thought process was for this one outside of thinking it'd be funny, and then - as usual - getting way too into the thick of it. I mean, why did I add softer shading on the Baman Piderman characters? that's so difficult to do in flash! I didn't have to do all that!!
Good grief, 2013 Bryn!
